My pretty palettes: (I need a date fast!)

      Hello Beauties and Divas,

I decided to decorate my eyeshadow palettes.
(I know, I was just that bored)
They were all made of that cheap looking shiny black plastic.
I wasn't feeling that look.

Products used:
3 old sheets of scrapbooking paper
4 old beauty magazines
Alphabet stickers from Target
2 tubes of elmers school glue stick
scissors

This is how they turned out...

Indian Bridal Makeup

Indian Bridal Makeup is unique in itself. Every girl wants to look her best on this special day. She also wants to have the best photographs to keep for the rest of her life.  Bridal makeup is as important as bride’s wedding costume and an integral part of preparations for this special occasion.  She wears bright colors like red, fuchsia and maroon along with the golden and diamond jewelry. Bridal makeup is no less bright and colorful than the dress and the jewelry.

So here's my take...

Products used:

Eyes: L.A. Colors Brights (Purple, Fushia, Blue)
Ruby Kisses glitter liner in Glitz n Blue,
Ulta Voluptuous Volume mascara in jet black

Cheeks: Milani minerals blush in Mai Tai #203

The Mardi Gras Indians

Mardi Gras is full of secrets and the Mardi Gras Indians are as much a part of that secret society as any other carnival organization. The Mardi Gras Indians are comprised, in large part, of the blacks of New Orleans' inner cities. They have paraded for well over a century...yet their parade is perhaps the least recognized Mardi Gras tradition. Masking as an Indian means designing and creating a new costume every year. Larry Bannock wears a hand-beaded and feathered suit of original design that weighs between 100 and 150 pounds and costing upwards Of $5000 each. He wears this suit as he marches throughout the city on Mardi Gras day, meeting the other chiefs along the way. At times, he removes the heavier part of the suit, replacing it as he approaches another Indian Chief.

I'm in love with the beautiful costumes.

Tips: I used a flat eyeshadow brush to pat violet eyeshadow on top of the plum eyeliner on my lower lashline (to make the color pop more). I basically placed the eyeshadows in a rainbow formation over each eye. I used my Milani mineral powder on the browbone and a yellow shadow on the tearduct area.

Feel free to leave any question or comments.
